R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, John and Freddie Utsman of Midland observed the |
|
|
joyous milestone of their golden wedding anniversary on January 26, |
|
|
2007; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, United in matrimony in 1957 in Houston, John Utsman |
|
|
and the former Freddie Bashaw have been blessed with two children, |
|
|
John Utsman, Jr., and Kathleen Utsman; through the years, this fine |
|
|
family has expanded to include two grandchildren; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Respected members of the community, Mr. and Mrs. |
|
|
Utsman founded the Mission Adult Daycare Center of Midland; before |
|
|
opening that business, Mr. Utsman was employed by Sun Oil Company |
|
|
until his retirement, and Mrs. Utsman, a registered nurse, worked |
|
|
for a VA medical center; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For five decades, the Utsmans have shared life's |
|
|
triumphs and trials, and they are among a select and truly |
|
|
exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting |
|
|
commitment; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate John and Freddie Utsman on their |
|
|
50th wedding anniversary and extend to them best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness together; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Utsman as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
