R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, November 20, 2006, was indeed a special day for
  Jason Anthony Husbands and Sarah Elisabeth Hazel Husbands, for it
  marked the birth of their twins, Logan Anthony and Madeline Elise
  Husbands; and
         WHEREAS, The darling duo were no doubt the center of
  attention among staff and patients alike when they were born at the
  Woman's Hospital of Texas in Houston; Madeline weighed 5 pounds, 7
  ounces, and measured 17-3/4 inches in length when she made her
  debut, while her brother, Logan, weighed 5 pounds, 13 ounces, and
  measured 18 inches at birth; and
         WHEREAS, Blessed with a double dose of charm, Madeline and
  Logan have brought boundless joy into the hearts of their parents
  and their grandparents, Hal Husbands, Sam and Cathryn Restivo, and
  Claude and Elise Hazel; and
         WHEREAS, Affectionately called the "Butterball Turkeys," the
  twins are already asserting their individuality; Logan loves to
  talk, and people have often remarked that he is "all boy," while the
  quiet and thoughtful Madeline is most often called a "little
  angel"; and
         WHEREAS, The parents of this precious pair are business
  owners and active congregants at the Vineyard Church of Sugar Land;
  Mrs. Husbands plays the violin in local orchestras and enjoys
  running, and Mr. Husbands is a science fiction fan and computer
  wizard who plays the guitar; and
         WHEREAS, The arrival of a new baby is a joyous occasion, and
  it is a great pleasure to formally recognize this doubly joyous
  occasion and to honor the delighted parents of Logan and Madeline;
  now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas
  Legislature hereby welcome Madeline Elise Husbands and Logan
  Anthony Husbands as new citizens of the Lone Star State and extend
  heartfelt congratulations to their parents, Jason Anthony Husbands
  and Sarah Elisabeth Hazel Husbands, on the birth of their twins;
  and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Husbands and their twins as an expression
  of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
