R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Rene Garcia of Penitas has been a valued employee of |
|
|
Halliburton Energy Services for 25 years, and his notable tenure |
|
|
with the company is truly worthy of commendation; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Garcia joined Halliburton in 1982 as a service |
|
|
supervisor; working in Mission, he oversaw 32 staff members and |
|
|
earned a number of accolades, including the Most Valuable Player |
|
|
Award for his work in the development of environmental cement dust |
|
|
control; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This talented Texan has since been promoted to the |
|
|
position of performance development coordinator, and his wealth of |
|
|
experience has served him well in his new role; responsible for the |
|
|
training and development of Algerian nationals in Hassi Messaoud, |
|
|
he currently supervises nearly 150 workers from around the world; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Mr. Garcia enjoys the support |
|
|
of a loving family, which includes his wife, Elma, and their |
|
|
children, Belinda, Ruben, and Roberto; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A leader of tremendous dedication, Rene Garcia has |
|
|
set an inspiring example of professional excellence, and it is a |
|
|
pleasure to join in celebrating his achievements; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby honor Rene Garcia for his outstanding service to |
|
|
Halliburton Energy Services and extend to him sincere best wishes |
|
|
for continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Garcia as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
