R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, An inspiring couple whose lives have been enhanced |
|
|
by a great and enduring love, Hugh and Juanita Eudy of Midland |
|
|
celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on June 29, 2006; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Eudy were united in matrimony in |
|
|
Turkey, Texas, in 1941; they have nurtured a close and fulfilling |
|
|
marriage that has been made even richer with the addition of their |
|
|
children, Donnie Eudy and his wife, Linda, Larry Eudy and his wife, |
|
|
Jeannie, and Ken Eudy and his wife, Sheila; they also have seven |
|
|
grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Having witnessed innumerable changes in the world |
|
|
over the past 6-1/2 decades, this devoted husband and wife have |
|
|
taken comfort in the reassuring strength of their love, and the |
|
|
steadfast support they provide to one another has allowed them to |
|
|
meet life's challenges and opportunities with grace and |
|
|
determination; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Hugh and Juanita Eudy on their 65th |
|
|
wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Eudy as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
