R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Lopez of Irving will celebrate |
|
|
their 40th wedding anniversary on March 17, 2007, and they may |
|
|
indeed reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have |
|
|
shared; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Lopez were united in matrimony in 1967, |
|
|
and over the course of their marriage they have found in each other |
|
|
a caring life partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The couple count among their blessings a fine family |
|
|
that includes their three daughters, Amy Ellis, Holly Newsom, and |
|
|
Stephanie Lopez, with whom they share the many special occasions of |
|
|
life; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For four decades, Mr. and Mrs. Lopez have brought to |
|
|
their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it is a |
|
|
pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Lopez on their |
|
|
40th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Lopez as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
