R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Joe and Marilyn Van Hoff of Midland celebrated their |
|
|
60th wedding anniversary in 2006, and they may indeed reflect with |
|
|
joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Van Hoff exchanged the vows of |
|
|
matrimony in 1946, and over the course of their marriage, they have |
|
|
found in each other a devoted life partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Joe and Marilyn Van Hoff count among their blessings |
|
|
a fine family that includes their children and numerous |
|
|
grandchildren, with whom they share the many special occasions of |
|
|
life; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For six decades, Mr. and Mrs. Van Hoff have together |
|
|
enjoyed laughter, kindness, and affection, and it is a pleasure to |
|
|
honor them for their enduring commitment; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Joe and Marilyn Van Hoff on their |
|
|
60th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Van Hoff as an expression of high regard |
|
|
by the Texas House of Representatives. |
