R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, An inspiring couple whose lives have been enhanced |
|
|
by a great and enduring love, Charlie and AnnElise McCoy reached a |
|
|
meaningful milestone in their relationship when they celebrated |
|
|
their 50th wedding anniversary; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. McCoy have nurtured a close and |
|
|
fulfilling marriage that has been made even richer with the |
|
|
addition of two children and their spouses, Melanie Lancaster and |
|
|
her husband, Mark, and David McCoy and his wife, Lynn, as well as |
|
|
three grandchildren, Michelle, Gage, and Elise; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Having witnessed innumerable changes in the world |
|
|
over the past half-century, this devoted husband and wife have |
|
|
taken comfort in the reassuring strength of their love, and the |
|
|
steadfast support they provide to one another has allowed them to |
|
|
meet life's challenges and opportunities with grace and |
|
|
determination; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Charlie and AnnElise McCoy on their |
|
|
golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes |
|
|
for continued happiness together; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. McCoy as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
