R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, An inspiring couple whose lives have been enhanced |
|
|
by a great and enduring love, Jesus and Maria Ayala of Lamesa |
|
|
celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on October 14, 2006; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Jesus Ayala and the former Maria Nava were united in |
|
|
matrimony in Ciudad Acuna, Coahuila, Mexico, in 1956; they have |
|
|
nurtured a close and fulfilling marriage that has been made even |
|
|
richer with the addition of four sons, Jesus, Salvador, Aurelio, |
|
|
and Roberto Ayala, and four daughters, Juana Maria Sanchez, Aurora |
|
|
Ruiz, Guadalupe Martinez, and Martha Irene Ayala, as well as 21 |
|
|
grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Having witnessed innumerable changes in the world |
|
|
over the past half-century, this devoted husband and wife have |
|
|
taken comfort in the reassuring strength of their love, and the |
|
|
steadfast support they provide to one another has allowed them to |
|
|
meet life's challenges and opportunities with grace and |
|
|
determination; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Jesus and Maria Ayala on their 50th |
|
|
wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness together; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Ayala as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
