R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Dana Jasper has been recognized by the Mesquite Fire |
|
|
Department with the first "Making a Difference" Fire Chief Award; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This accolade is designed to pay tribute to city |
|
|
employees whose efforts have helped the fire department fulfill its |
|
|
mission of minimizing the loss of life or property resulting from |
|
|
fire, medical emergencies, and other disasters; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mrs. Jasper is a most deserving recipient of this |
|
|
new honor; currently serving as the executive secretary of the |
|
|
department, she has been a valued member of the team since 1999; her |
|
|
noted organizational skills have been highly instrumental in |
|
|
ensuring the efficiency of operations, and her caring touch has |
|
|
been felt in the many successful events she has planned for |
|
|
firefighters and their families; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mrs. Jasper has made many valuable contributions to |
|
|
the vitality of the Mesquite Fire Department, and she may reflect |
|
|
with pride on this recent honor and on her years of service to her |
|
|
community; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Dana Jasper on her receipt of the |
|
|
"Making a Difference" Fire Chief Award from the Mesquite Fire |
|
|
Department and extend to her best wishes for the future; and, be it |
|
|
further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mrs. Jasper as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
