R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, A 20th wedding anniversary is both a time to |
|
|
commemorate the past and to welcome the future, and on March 28, |
|
|
2007, Representative Kelly Hancock and his wife, Robin, are marking |
|
|
this noteworthy milestone in their lives; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Natives of Fort Worth, Kelly Hancock and Robin |
|
|
Harrison both attended kindergarten at Hobby Horse Corral; these |
|
|
two childhood friends became high school sweethearts and attended |
|
|
Baylor University together, where Mr. Hancock was active in Sigma |
|
|
Chi, and Ms. Harrison was named Sigma Chi Sweetheart and Baylor |
|
|
homecoming princess; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, They began their journey together as husband and |
|
|
wife when they were married on March 28, 1987; through the years |
|
|
their family has grown to include three children, Chloe, Skylar, |
|
|
and Harrison, and they have played an active role in their Tarrant |
|
|
County community through their involvement in school, church, and |
|
|
civic events; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For two decades, Kelly and Robin Hancock have |
|
|
brightened each other's lives with laughter, kindness, and |
|
|
devotion, and they may look forward with anticipation to the many |
|
|
more joyful years that await them; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Kelly and Robin Hancock on the |
|
|
occasion of their 20th wedding anniversary and extend to them |
|
|
sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the couple as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
