R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, City-Wide Beauticians, Inc., of Houston is |
|
|
celebrating its 50th anniversary on April 29, 2007; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This coalition of Bayou City cosmetologists was |
|
|
established in 1946 under the leadership of J. H. Jamerson; the |
|
|
organization's goal is to raise and maintain the standards of the |
|
|
professional community it serves and to provide its members with |
|
|
ongoing support and opportunities for continued education; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Now under the able leadership of president Bernice |
|
|
Ellis, the members of City-Wide Beauticians may take pride in this |
|
|
significant milestone in the history of their organization, and it |
|
|
is appropriate to take this opportunity to recognize them; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate the members of City-Wide |
|
|
Beauticians, Inc., on the organization's golden anniversary and |
|
|
extend to them best wishes for the future. |
