R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Shea Caroline Miller celebrated the significant
  milestone of her Bat Mitzvah on March 10, 2007; and
         WHEREAS, Marking her transition from childhood to adulthood,
  this time-honored tradition will usher in a new phase in her life;
  and
         WHEREAS, Miss Miller is a sixth grade student at Akiba
  Academy of Dallas, where she counts among her activities ballet and
  tennis; she is a source of pride to her loving family, which
  includes parents Kathy Stacia Miller and Phil Keith Miller,
  brothers Matt and Chad Davis, and grandparents Linda Carol Oksner,
  Sol Shearn Rovinsky, Mary Ray-Fried Miller, and Cecil Frank Miller;
  and
         WHEREAS, A Bat Mitzvah represents an important rite of
  passage for this fine young Texan, and it is a pleasure to recognize
  her and her family on the occasion of this celebrated ritual in
  Jewish cultural life; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Shea Caroline Miller on her Bat
  Mitzvah and extend to her best wishes for the future; and, be it
  further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Miss Miller as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
