R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Shea Caroline Miller celebrated the significant |
|
|
milestone of her Bat Mitzvah on March 10, 2007; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Marking her transition from childhood to adulthood, |
|
|
this time-honored tradition will usher in a new phase in her life; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Miss Miller is a sixth grade student at Akiba |
|
|
Academy of Dallas, where she counts among her activities ballet and |
|
|
tennis; she is a source of pride to her loving family, which |
|
|
includes parents Kathy Stacia Miller and Phil Keith Miller, |
|
|
brothers Matt and Chad Davis, and grandparents Linda Carol Oksner, |
|
|
Sol Shearn Rovinsky, Mary Ray-Fried Miller, and Cecil Frank Miller; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A Bat Mitzvah represents an important rite of |
|
|
passage for this fine young Texan, and it is a pleasure to recognize |
|
|
her and her family on the occasion of this celebrated ritual in |
|
|
Jewish cultural life; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Shea Caroline Miller on her Bat |
|
|
Mitzvah and extend to her best wishes for the future; and, be it |
|
|
further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Miss Miller as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
