R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, A 50th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of love |
|
|
and shared experiences, and Dennis and Florence Baughman of Conroe |
|
|
celebrated this joyous milestone in their marriage on February 16, |
|
|
2007; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Dennis Baughman and the former Florence Ashcraft |
|
|
were joined in matrimony in 1957, at the First Methodist Church in |
|
|
Ranger; through the years, they have been blessed with two sons and |
|
|
their wives, Chris and Karen Baughman and Charlie and Paula |
|
|
Baughman, as well as four grandchildren, Haley, Kelsey, Rebecca, |
|
|
and Tony; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Looking back over the past five decades, Mr. and |
|
|
Mrs. Baughman can savor a wealth of cherished family memories and |
|
|
know that the strength of their love and commitment sets a |
|
|
meaningful example for all who know them; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Dennis and Florence Baughman on |
|
|
their golden wedding anniversary and extend to them best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness together; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Baughman as an expression of high regard |
|
|
by the Texas House of Representatives. |
