R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The 40th birthday of an esteemed Texan is truly |
|
|
cause for celebration, and Sylvia Marie Hogan is marking this |
|
|
special milestone on May 1, 2007; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For many years, Mrs. Hogan has touched the lives of |
|
|
countless people with her love of children and her devotion to |
|
|
helping others; she is a cherished friend and the beloved wife of |
|
|
Shawn Hogan, whom she wed on July 14, 2001; a loving parent and role |
|
|
model to her children, she is the mother of Rachel and Steven |
|
|
Watson, and the stepmother of Bryan Hogan; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Throughout her career Mrs. Hogan has given |
|
|
generously of her time and talents as an educator; she is a second |
|
|
grade teacher at Lieder Elementary School in the Cypress-Fairbanks |
|
|
Independent School District, where she helps to give her students |
|
|
the academic background they need for success; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Highly regarded by all who know her, Mrs. Hogan is a |
|
|
blessing to her friends and family, and it is a pleasure to |
|
|
recognize her on 40 years of life well lived; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Sylvia Marie Hogan on the memorable |
|
|
occasion of her 40th birthday and extend to her sincere best wishes |
|
|
for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mrs. Hogan as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
