R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, A 50th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of love |
|
|
and shared experiences, and Daniel and Frances Labowski of Midland |
|
|
celebrated this joyous milestone in their marriage on June 23, |
|
|
2006; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Daniel Labowski and the former Frances Branscum were |
|
|
joined in matrimony in 1956, at a ceremony held in Midland; through |
|
|
the years, they have been blessed with a treasured family that |
|
|
includes eight children, Mary Pate, Helen Barker, Margaret Diaz, |
|
|
Sammy Hanna, Debbie Dickens, Douglas Hanna, Danny Labowski, Jr., |
|
|
and Paulette Casey, as well as 17 grandchildren and 17 |
|
|
great-grandchildren; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Respected members of their community, Mr. Labowski |
|
|
worked for Atmos Energy and Mrs. Labowski is retired from Midland |
|
|
Independent School District; they are valued members of Second |
|
|
Baptist Church; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Labowski have enjoyed five decades of |
|
|
abiding love and affection for one another, and they are among an |
|
|
exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting |
|
|
commitment; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Daniel and Frances Labowski on |
|
|
their 50th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best |
|
|
wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Labowski as an expression of high regard |
|
|
by the Texas House of Representatives. |
