H.R. No. 934

R E S O L U T I O N

WHEREAS, A 53rd wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of love and shared experiences, and Frank and Duane Castleberry of Midland celebrated this joyous milestone in their marriage on November 8, 2006; and

WHEREAS, Frank Castleberry and the former Duane Wilson were joined in matrimony in 1953, at a ceremony held in Midland; through the years, they have been blessed with a treasured family that includes six children, Jim Castleberry, Elizabeth Giacobbe, Shana Castleberry, Lee Castleberry, John Castleberry, and Frank Castleberry, Jr., as well as 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; and

WHEREAS, Respected members of their community, Mr. Castleberry worked for BTA Oil Producers and retired from Madco in 1993, and Mrs. Castleberry is a bus driver for the Midland Independent School District; in addition to meeting their work and family responsibilities, they have been valued members of Westside Freewill Baptist Church; they are also affiliated with the Eagles Lodge, the Oddfellows Lodge, Little League, and Boy Scouts; and

WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Castleberry have enjoyed more than five decades of abiding love and affection for one another, and they are among an exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting commitment; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas Legislature hereby congratulate Frank and Duane Castleberry on their 53rd wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Castleberry as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
