R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, A 60th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of love |
|
|
and shared experiences, and Paul and Mona Price of Midland |
|
|
celebrated this joyous milestone in their marriage on August 31, |
|
|
2006; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Paul Price, Jr., and the former Mona Jean Boggs were |
|
|
joined in matrimony in 1946, in Cisco; through the years, they have |
|
|
been blessed with a treasured family that includes three children, |
|
|
Joan Hamilton, Paul Price, and Robert Price, as well as seven |
|
|
grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Respected members of their community, Mr. Price is |
|
|
retired from Mobil Oil Company and Mrs. Price is a retired nurse; in |
|
|
addition to meeting their work and family responsibilities, they |
|
|
have been valued members of First United Pentecostal Church; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Price have enjoyed six decades of |
|
|
abiding love and affection for one another, and they are among an |
|
|
exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting |
|
|
commitment; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Paul and Mona Price on their 60th |
|
|
wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Price as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
