R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, A group of students from Carden-Jackson School in
  Pearland is visiting the State Capitol on March 22, 2007, to learn
  more about the government and history of the Lone Star State; and
         WHEREAS, With the 80th Legislative Session well underway, the
  Capitol Complex is a source of great activity, offering visitors an
  excellent opportunity to see their state government in action
  firsthand; and
         WHEREAS, While in Austin, these fifth and sixth grade
  students and their sponsors will tour the Capitol and increase
  their awareness of the fascinating history of this monument to
  freedom and democracy; and
         WHEREAS, The Texas Capitol is an ideal setting for young and
  old alike to discover the rich heritage of the Lone Star State and
  to gain insight into the workings of our state legislature, and it
  is a pleasure to welcome members of the Carden-Jackson School
  community at this time; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend the visiting students and sponsors from
  Carden-Jackson School on their interest in state government and
  extend to them sincere best wishes for an informative and memorable
  visit to the Capitol.
