R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Elizabeth and Claude Wilson of Midland celebrated |
|
|
their 70th wedding anniversary on November 8, 2006, and they may |
|
|
indeed reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have |
|
|
shared; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Claude Wilson and the former Elizabeth Brazelton |
|
|
exchanged the vows of matrimony in Tahoka on that special day in |
|
|
1936, and over the course of their marriage, they have found in each |
|
|
other a caring life partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Wilson count among their blessings a |
|
|
fine family that includes Mrs. Frank Castleberry, Bobby Wilson, and |
|
|
Estes Wilson, as well as 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, |
|
|
and 12 great-great-grandchildren; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For seven decades, Claude and Elizabeth Wilson have |
|
|
brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it |
|
|
is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Claude and Elizabeth Wilson on |
|
|
their 70th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best |
|
|
wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Wilson as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
