R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, John and Diann Stadler are celebrating the milestone |
|
|
of their 30th wedding anniversary on June 11, 2007; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, John Christian Stadler II met the former Diann |
|
|
Tavender at Eagle Mountain Lake, and they were united in matrimony |
|
|
in 1977 at First United Methodist Church in Fort Worth; through the |
|
|
years, they have been blessed with two children, John Christian |
|
|
Stadler III and Graham Edward Stadler; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Animals, too, have found a welcoming home with Mr. |
|
|
and Mrs. Stadler; their numerous pets have included Tank, Sweet |
|
|
Lips, Sharky, Nick, Harley, Jack, the Duckster, Murphey, Hobbes, |
|
|
the iguanas, and many fish; the Stadler residence is also popular |
|
|
with neighborhood residents, and their driveway has hosted numerous |
|
|
cookouts, Easter egg hunts, and Halloween parties; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The Stadlers are enthusiastic travelers, and their |
|
|
excursions have taken them to Alaska, Europe, Asia, South America, |
|
|
and Antarctica; they have seen wonders such as the Taj Mahal and |
|
|
historic sights such as the Tower of London, but their favorite spot |
|
|
on earth remains Eagle Mountain Lake, where they first beheld each |
|
|
other and together began the most memorable journey of their lives; |
|
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate John and Diann Stadler on the |
|
|
joyous occasion of their 30th wedding anniversary and extend to |
|
|
them best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Stadler as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
