R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Heather Hirsch of Athens exhibited the winning
  animal in the Reserve Shorthorn Junior Breeding Beef Heifer
  competition, which took place on January 21 at the 2007
  Southwestern Exposition and Livestock Show in Fort Worth; and
         WHEREAS, Also known as the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo,
  the exposition is a premier event in the livestock industry,
  hosting more than 950,000 visitors each year; the exposition's
  prestigious junior livestock competition allows young people to
  gain valuable experience in the industry and to develop skills that
  will benefit them for the rest of their lives; and
         WHEREAS, Heather Hirsch has enjoyed previous success in
  livestock competitions, including the 2005 East Texas Junior
  Livestock Show, where she won third place in the Limousin category,
  first place in the Shorthorn and Simbrah competitions, and
  recognition for senior showmanship in the Simmental judging; she
  also picked up top honors at the 2006 Henderson County Livestock
  Show in the Middle Weight Steers division; and
         WHEREAS, Heather Hirsch's achievement at the Southwestern
  Exposition and Livestock Show is yet another notable victory for
  this accomplished young woman, and her dedication and hard work are
  truly worthy of special recognition; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That Heather Hirsch be congratulated for
  exhibiting the winning animal in the Reserve Shorthorn Junior
  Breeding Beef Heifer competition at the 2007 Southwestern
  Exposition and Livestock Show and that she be extended sincere best
  wishes for continued success and happiness.
