R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, the Texas Youth Commission is in need of systemic |
|
|
reforms to address gross failures of management and operations; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, in order to protect the integrity of certain ongoing |
|
|
criminal investigations, the House Committee on Corrections should |
|
|
be able to take testimony from numerous witnesses in a closed |
|
|
meeting; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th |
|
|
Legislature hereby authorizes the House Committee on Corrections to |
|
|
meet in executive session in accordance with House Rule 4, Section |
|
|
12 and take testimony from invited witnesses in a closed meeting. |
