R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The congregants of First Christian Fellowship |
|
|
Missionary Baptist Church in Houston are honoring the Reverend |
|
|
Quinton R. Smith and his wife, Delois Smith, on their 11 years of |
|
|
service to the church on April 1, 2007; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through their outstanding spiritual leadership and |
|
|
strong faith, Reverend and Mrs. Smith are commendable role models |
|
|
for many; the couple have diligently worked in behalf of the |
|
|
church's membership and the wider community, and offer comfort and |
|
|
guidance to those who seek their assistance; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The Smiths have enhanced the lives of countless |
|
|
individuals during their tenure as church leaders, and they will |
|
|
undoubtedly continue to be a steadfast source of inspiration to |
|
|
their congregation in the years ahead; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate the Reverend Quinton R. Smith and |
|
|
Delois Smith on their 11th anniversary with First Christian |
|
|
Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church and extend to them sincere |
|
|
best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Pastor and Mrs. Smith as an expression of high regard |
|
|
by the Texas House of Representatives. |
