R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, The congregants of First Christian Fellowship
  Missionary Baptist Church in Houston are honoring the Reverend
  Quinton R. Smith and his wife, Delois Smith, on their 11 years of
  service to the church on April 1, 2007; and
         WHEREAS, Through their outstanding spiritual leadership and
  strong faith, Reverend and Mrs. Smith are commendable role models
  for many; the couple have diligently worked in behalf of the
  church's membership and the wider community, and offer comfort and
  guidance to those who seek their assistance; and
         WHEREAS, The Smiths have enhanced the lives of countless
  individuals during their tenure as church leaders, and they will
  undoubtedly continue to be a steadfast source of inspiration to
  their congregation in the years ahead; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate the Reverend Quinton R. Smith and
  Delois Smith on their 11th anniversary with First Christian
  Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church and extend to them sincere
  best wishes for the future; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Pastor and Mrs. Smith as an expression of high regard
  by the Texas House of Representatives.
