R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, The year 2007 marks the founding of the El Paso |
|
Association of Mediators, and this notable professional group is |
|
truly worthy of recognition; and |
|
WHEREAS, Established to promote mediation and arbitration as |
|
methods for resolving civil disputes, the organization is ably led |
|
by president Bill Hardie, vice president for finance Joann Chapman, |
|
vice president for public awareness Reed Leverton, vice president |
|
for membership Patricia Palafox, and vice president for programs |
|
Fred Morton; and |
|
WHEREAS, The El Paso Association of Mediators will surely be |
|
a positive force in the West Texas legal community for many years to |
|
come as its members strive to uphold the common goals that unite |
|
them; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby commemorate the establishment of the El Paso |
|
Association of Mediators and extend to all of its members best |
|
wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for the association as an expression of high regard by the |
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
