| WHEREAS, The untimely passing of Larry Baldwin on February | ||
| 13, 2007, has deeply saddened the family and friends of this | ||
| respected Dallas resident; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Born on June 22, 1952, in Rusk, Mr. Baldwin began | ||
| high school in Jacksonville before moving to Dallas during his | ||
| sophomore year; as an adult, he often returned to East Texas and | ||
| enjoyed spending time in the community of Sacul, in Nacogdoches | ||
| County; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Larry Baldwin worked as a master plumber before | ||
| becoming a diving instructor in 1998; after teaching for four years | ||
| in a dive shop, he established his own diving instruction business | ||
| with his wife in 2002; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Larry Baldwin lived a caring and purposeful life; | ||
| those fortunate enough to have shared in his affection and | ||
| friendship will always remember his love of the outdoors and of | ||
| music, his enjoyment of dancing, his passion for politics, and his | ||
| devotion to his family and friends; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Larry Baldwin and | ||
| extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his wife, | ||
| Sherry Baldwin; to his daughter, Misty Dean; to his son, Keith | ||
| Baldwin; to his grandchildren, Bethany Baldwin and Kelsey Dean; and | ||
| to his other relatives and many friends; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of | ||
| Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Larry | ||
| Baldwin. | ||
