R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Andrew Bauer, principal of Poteet High School, has |
|
|
been named the 2007 Secondary Principal of the Year by the Mesquite |
|
|
Independent School District; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A graduate of Sam Houston State University, |
|
|
Mr. Bauer received his master's degree from Texas A&M |
|
|
University-Commerce; his first job was with Spring ISD, where he |
|
|
taught English and coached baseball; his work for Mesquite ISD |
|
|
began when he took a job at North Mesquite High School, and he later |
|
|
was employed at McDonald Middle School before moving to Maurine |
|
|
Cain Middle School in Rockwall; he returned to Mesquite to serve as |
|
|
assistant principal at McDonald Middle School, and in 2005 he |
|
|
became principal of Poteet High School; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, With the love and support of his wife and fellow |
|
|
educator, Cathy, and his daughter, Kaitlyn, Mr. Bauer has |
|
|
established himself as an indispensable asset to the Mesquite |
|
|
community; as a teacher and administrator of great dedication, he |
|
|
has been a positive influence for countless students, and it is a |
|
|
pleasure to honor him for his accomplishments; now, therefore, be |
|
|
it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Andrew Bauer for being named the |
|
|
Mesquite Independent School District 2007 Secondary Principal of |
|
|
the Year and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Bauer as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
