R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Bob Cook, Nicholas J. Costanzo, and Victor Nevarez |
|
|
were elected as board members of United Way of El Paso County in |
|
|
March 2007; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A volunteer-led nonprofit, this worthy organization |
|
|
raises charitable contributions for programs that serve the good of |
|
|
the community and its most vulnerable members; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Each of these new board members is valued for his |
|
|
professional leadership: Mr. Cook at El Paso REDCO, Mr. Costanzo at |
|
|
El Paso Water Utilities, and Mr. Nevarez at Western Refining; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, With a wealth of business and civic knowledge |
|
|
between them, these esteemed gentlemen are sure to contribute |
|
|
greatly to the board, and it is most appropriate to honor them for |
|
|
their commitment to the betterment of their community; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Bob Cook, Nicholas J. Costanzo, and |
|
|
Victor Nevarez on their election to the board of United Way of El |
|
|
Paso County and extend to them sincere best wishes for the future; |
|
|
and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That official copies of this resolution be prepared |
|
|
for Mr. Cook, Mr. Costanzo, and Mr. Nevarez as an expression of high |
|
|
regard by the Texas House of Representatives. |
