R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, A full and generous life drew to a close with the |
|
|
passing of Katherine Reddy Eddy of Dallas on March 24, 2007; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Born on June 26, 1922, in Cedar Hill, Mrs. Eddy was |
|
|
the daughter of Joe Valentine Reddy and Verda Switzer Reddy; after |
|
|
starting her own family, she worked as a homemaker and was also |
|
|
employed by AT&T; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Katherine Eddy played a positive role in the lives |
|
|
of her friends and family, and those fortunate enough to have known |
|
|
her will forever cherish their memories of time spent in her |
|
|
company; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Katherine Reddy Eddy |
|
|
and extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to her |
|
|
children, Daniel Robert Eddy III and his wife, Kathy, Ricky Dean |
|
|
Eddy and his wife, Marcia, and Pamela Kay Barger and her husband, |
|
|
Larry; to her grandchildren, Chris and Jason Eddy, Jeremy and |
|
|
Brandi Barger, and Ashley, Chelsey, and Brooke Eddy; to her |
|
|
great-grandchildren, Austin, Jake, Cooper, Tyler, Regan, Devyn, |
|
|
and Avery; to her sisters, Imogene Haney and Maggie Weathermon; and |
|
|
to her other relatives and friends; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of |
|
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Katherine |
|
|
Reddy Eddy. |
