R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, A golden wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of
  love and shared experiences, and Alton and Delores Krauskopf of
  Wharton County are celebrating this joyous milestone in their
  marriage on April 22, 2007; and
         WHEREAS, "Bingo" Krauskopf and the former Delores Valenta
  were joined in matrimony in 1957, at a ceremony held at St. Philip
  the Apostle Catholic Church in El Campo; through the years, they
  have been blessed with a treasured family that includes five
  children, Glenn, Nancy, Carol, Bruce, and Tom, as well as seven
  grandchildren; and
         WHEREAS, Mrs. Krauskopf was employed by Central Power and
  Light Company before becoming a stay-at-home mom, while Mr.
  Krauskopf, a veteran of the U.S. Army, worked for the United States
  Postal Service; since his retirement in 1987, he and his wife have
  operated their own oilfield service company, K-C Lease Service,
  Inc.; and
         WHEREAS, In addition to meeting their career and family
  responsibilities, Mr. and Mrs. Krauskopf are members of St. Andrew
  Catholic Church, Hillje-Louise KJT, and Hillje SPJST, and they have
  both been named Citizen of the Year by the Hillje-Louise Chamber of
  Commerce; Mr. Krauskopf has been active as a 4th Degree member of
  the Knights of Columbus, as a director of the Hillje-Louise Chamber
  of Commerce, as an honorary member of the Louise Volunteer Fire
  Department and Louise FFA, and as a life member of the Wharton
  County Youth Fair; equally involved in community affairs, Mrs.
  Krauskopf has given of her time and talents to the Hillje Altar
  Society and Catholic Daughters of the Americas and served as the
  coordinator of the Hillje-Louise Food Basket Program; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Krauskopf have enjoyed five decades of
  abiding love and affection for one another, and their enduring
  union is an inspiration to all who know them; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Bingo and Delores Krauskopf on
  their 50th wedding anniversary and extend to them best wishes for
  continued happiness; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Krauskopf as an expression of high regard
  by the Texas House of Representatives.
