R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Dr. Andrew M. Landry is beginning his service as |
|
dean of the Conroe Baptist Theological Institute/Houston Extension |
|
College on May 4, 2007; and |
|
WHEREAS, This appointment is the latest accomplishment in Dr. |
|
Landry's notable career; the pastor of the Oak Hill Missionary |
|
Baptist Church in Houston, he is a graduate of the Conroe Baptist |
|
Theological Institute and has become a highly respected preacher, |
|
counselor, mentor, and educator; and |
|
WHEREAS, This dynamic clergyman continues to be inspired by |
|
the quest for spiritual enlightenment as well as by his unwavering |
|
mission to bring others to the Christian faith; he has played a |
|
positive role in the lives of many and will undoubtedly prove an |
|
outstanding educational leader in his new position; now, therefore, |
|
be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Dr. Andrew M. Landry on his |
|
appointment as dean of the Conroe Baptist Theological |
|
Institute/Houston Extension College and extend to him best wishes |
|
for success in this role; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Dr. Landry as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
House of Representatives. |
