| WHEREAS, An inspiring couple whose lives have been enhanced | |||
| by a great and enduring love, Mason and Erma Yarbrough of Waco | |||
| celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on January 24, 2007; and | |||
| WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Yarbrough were united in matrimony in | |||
| Tuskegee, Alabama, in 1957; they have nurtured a close and | |||
| fulfilling marriage that has been made even richer with the | |||
| addition of their son, Adrian, and their granddaughter, Adrian | |||
| Diane; and | |||
| WHEREAS, Having witnessed innumerable changes in the world | |||
| over the past half-century, this devoted husband and wife have | |||
| taken comfort in the reassuring strength of their love, and the | |||
| steadfast support they provide to one another has allowed them to | |||
| meet life's challenges and opportunities with grace and | |||
| determination; now, therefore, be it | |||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas | |||
| Legislature hereby congratulate Mason and Erma Yarbrough on their | |||
| golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes | |||
| for continued happiness; and, be it further | |||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | |||
| prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Yarbrough as an expression of high regard | |||
| by the Texas House of Representatives. | |||
