R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, A group of students from Como Elementary School in
  Fort Worth is visiting the State Capitol on April 27, 2007, to learn
  more about the government and history of the Lone Star State; and
         WHEREAS, With the 80th Legislative Session well underway, the
  Capitol Complex is a source of great activity, offering visitors an
  excellent opportunity to see their state government in action
  firsthand; and
         WHEREAS, While in Austin, these third-grade students and
  their sponsors will tour the Capitol and increase their awareness
  of the fascinating history of this monument to freedom and
  democracy; and
         WHEREAS, The Texas Capitol is an ideal setting for young and
  old alike to discover the rich heritage of the Lone Star State and
  to gain insight into the workings of our state legislature, and it
  is a pleasure to welcome members of the Como Elementary School
  community at this time; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend the visiting students and sponsors from
  Como Elementary School on their interest in state government and
  extend to them sincere best wishes for an informative and memorable
  visit to the Capitol.
