R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The Lone Star State became home to a new citizen with |
|
|
the birth of Audrey Eleanor Goodacre on April 23, 2007, in Austin; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of adoring parents Julia Eleanor |
|
|
Griffith Goodacre and Robert Forrest Goodacre, this charming beauty |
|
|
has won the hearts of her family, including relatives in Louisiana, |
|
|
Tennessee, Florida, and California, all of whom delight in her |
|
|
irresistible smile and engaging personality; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Goodacre have been ably assisted in |
|
|
caring for Audrey by her big brother, Jackson Forrest Goodacre, who |
|
|
will certainly take great pride in sharing his worldly wisdom with |
|
|
his sister, including his favorite route through the Ridgelea |
|
|
neighborhood to the bank of Shoal Creek and the rock-throwing |
|
|
techniques that he has perfected with daily and diligent effort; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The birth of a child is always a momentous event, and |
|
|
it is a pleasure to formally recognize the arrival of this precious |
|
|
baby girl and to honor her overjoyed parents; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby heartily congratulate Julia Eleanor Griffith |
|
|
Goodacre and Robert Forrest Goodacre of Austin on the birth of their |
|
|
beloved daughter and welcome Audrey Eleanor Goodacre as a new |
|
|
Texan; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Audrey and her parents as an expression of high regard |
|
|
by the Texas House of Representatives. |
