R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, An inspiring couple whose lives have been enhanced |
|
|
by a great and enduring love, John and Paula Juengerman celebrated |
|
|
their 50th wedding anniversary on March 2, 2007; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, John Juengerman and the former Paula Jones were |
|
|
united in matrimony in Houston in 1957; they have nurtured a close |
|
|
and fulfilling marriage that has been made even richer with the |
|
|
addition of their two sons, Eric Juengerman and Jim Juengerman and |
|
|
his wife, Kate, as well as their grandchildren, Leda Juengerman, |
|
|
Grace Juengerman, Keenen Juengerman, and Quintin Juengerman; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Juengerman had optometry practices in Hurst, |
|
|
Euless, and Allen; Mrs. Juengerman taught speech pathology and |
|
|
special education in the H-E-B school district for 26 years; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Having witnessed innumerable changes in the world |
|
|
over the past half-century, this devoted husband and wife have |
|
|
taken comfort in the reassuring strength of their love, and the |
|
|
steadfast support they provide to one another has allowed them to |
|
|
meet life's challenges and opportunities with grace and |
|
|
determination; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate John and Paula Juengerman on their |
|
|
golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes |
|
|
for continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Juengerman as an expression of high regard |
|
|
by the Texas House of Representatives. |
