R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, National Nurses Week is being observed May 6-12, |
|
2007, providing a welcome opportunity to recognize the nursing |
|
professionals of North Hills Hospital in North Richland Hills; and |
|
WHEREAS, North Hills Hospital was the first hospital in the |
|
United States to achieve Level 2 Chest Pain Center Accreditation |
|
and the first in North Texas with a critical response team; and |
|
WHEREAS, Under the leadership of CEO Randy Moresi and chief |
|
nursing officer Jane McCurley, the nurses of North Hills Hospital |
|
have distinguished themselves as outstanding health care |
|
providers; these highly skilled professionals have received a |
|
number of "Great 100 Awards" for nursing leadership and |
|
professionalism from the Texas Nursing Association, and their |
|
efforts have helped earn the hospital a reputation for excellence; |
|
and |
|
WHEREAS, Nurses are devoted caregivers as well as responsible |
|
professionals, and National Nurses Week is an ideal time to honor |
|
the men and women who have chosen this challenging and rewarding |
|
career; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby commend the members of the nursing staff of |
|
North Hills Hospital on the occasion of National Nurses Week and |
|
extend to them best wishes for continued success with their |
|
important work; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for the North Hills nurses as an expression of high regard |
|
by the Texas House of Representatives. |
