R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, National Nurses Week is being observed May 6-12,
  2007, providing a welcome opportunity to recognize the nursing
  professionals of North Hills Hospital in North Richland Hills; and
         WHEREAS, North Hills Hospital was the first hospital in the
  United States to achieve Level 2 Chest Pain Center Accreditation
  and the first in North Texas with a critical response team; and
         WHEREAS, Under the leadership of CEO Randy Moresi and chief
  nursing officer Jane McCurley, the nurses of North Hills Hospital
  have distinguished themselves as outstanding health care
  providers; these highly skilled professionals have received a
  number of "Great 100 Awards" for nursing leadership and
  professionalism from the Texas Nursing Association, and their
  efforts have helped earn the hospital a reputation for excellence;
  and
         WHEREAS, Nurses are devoted caregivers as well as responsible
  professionals, and National Nurses Week is an ideal time to honor
  the men and women who have chosen this challenging and rewarding
  career; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend the members of the nursing staff of
  North Hills Hospital on the occasion of National Nurses Week and
  extend to them best wishes for continued success with their
  important work; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for the North Hills nurses as an expression of high regard
  by the Texas House of Representatives.
