R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The Lone Star State became home to a new Texan with |
|
|
the birth of Gregory James Bonnen on October 6, 2005; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Born to our esteemed colleague State Representative |
|
|
Dennis Bonnen and his wife, Kim, Gregory James weighed 8 pounds, 14 |
|
|
ounces, and measured 20.5 inches in length when he made his |
|
|
long-awaited arrival; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Blessed with an irresistible smile and boundless |
|
|
energy, "the Gig," as he is known to his family and friends, was |
|
|
named for his paternal uncle, James Gregory Bonnen; since his |
|
|
birth, he has brought great joy into the lives of his parents, his |
|
|
older brother, David Jackson Carmichael Bonnen, and his |
|
|
grandparents, David and Matina Bonnen and Mike and Gail Martin; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The birth of a child is always a momentous event, and |
|
|
it is truly a pleasure to formally recognize Gregory and to honor |
|
|
his delighted parents; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby heartily congratulate State Representative |
|
|
Dennis Bonnen and Kim Bonnen on the birth of their beloved son and |
|
|
welcome Gregory James Bonnen as a new citizen of Texas; and, be it |
|
|
further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the Bonnen family as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
