R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Sharing a deep bond of love that has spanned three
  decades, Larry and Linda Cernosek of Deer Park are celebrating
  their 30th wedding anniversary on December 10, 2007; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Cernosek exchanged the vows of
  matrimony on that special day in 1977, and over the course of their
  marriage, they have raised a fine family that today includes three
  children, Josh, Lance, and Leah, with whom they share the many
  special occasions of life; and
         WHEREAS, A respected business leader, Larry Cernosek owns and
  operates an auto body shop and towing service in Deer Park, and he
  serves as chair of the Texas Towing and Storage Association; a
  member of the International Towing and Recovery Hall of Fame and the
  Texas Towing Hall of Fame, he has also been named Citizen of the
  Year by the Deer Park Chamber of Commerce and Christian Layman of
  the Year; moreover, he has received the Community Builder Award
  from the Deer Park Masonic Lodge; and
         WHEREAS, Linda Cernosek shares an interest in volunteerism
  with her husband, and she worked for Hughes Tool Company for 20
  years before leaving her job to volunteer with many worthwhile
  organizations; the Soroptimist of Pasadena, the Pasadena
  Philharmonic Society, Sarah's House, and St. Peter's Episcopal
  Church of Pasadena are among the groups and institutions that have
  benefited from the couple's input; in addition to Mrs. Cernosek's
  volunteer and family responsibilities, she is well known for her
  professional-quality baked goods, candies, and jellies; and
         WHEREAS, Looking back over the past three decades, Larry and
  Linda Cernosek can savor a wealth of cherished family memories and
  know that the strength of their love and commitment ensures that
  many more joyful times await them; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Larry and Linda Cernosek on their
  30th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for
  continued happiness; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Cernosek as an expression of high regard
  by the Texas House of Representatives.
