R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Angie D'Ambrosio of Hidden Cove Elementary School in |
|
|
San Antonio is a finalist for the 2007 HEB Excellence in Education |
|
|
Leadership Award for exceptional instruction in the classroom; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This prestigious honor highlights the efforts of |
|
|
public school teachers who have 10 to 20 years of experience |
|
|
instructing students and are a credit to their profession; these |
|
|
educators go the extra mile every day in service of their students |
|
|
and their community; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, As a fourth-grade teacher in the Southwest |
|
|
Independent School District, Ms. D'Ambrosio instills in her young |
|
|
pupils a strong desire to learn and the confidence to believe in |
|
|
their abilities by coming up with fun and creative activities for |
|
|
the classroom; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The passion with which Ms. D'Ambrosio approaches her |
|
|
profession is an inspiration to all who know her, and her hard work |
|
|
and dedication to excellence in education have immeasurably |
|
|
enriched the lives of countless students; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby honor Angie D'Ambrosio for being selected as a |
|
|
finalist for the 2007 HEB Excellence in Education Leadership Award |
|
|
and extend to her sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it |
|
|
further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. D'Ambrosio as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
