R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, December 8, 2006, was indeed a special day for |
|
|
Dennis and Emily Speight, for on that day their adorable baby boy, |
|
|
Evan Walker Speight, was born; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Weighing 8 pounds and 14 ounces, and measuring |
|
|
19-1/4 inches in length, Evan Speight has been blessed with an |
|
|
irresistible smile and a winning personality; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This much-loved baby boy is a cherished addition to |
|
|
his family, which includes grandparents Calvin and Charlene Speight |
|
|
and Judith Sadegh and Abolghassem Sadegh; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The birth of a new Texan is always a noteworthy |
|
|
event, and the members of this chamber take great pleasure in |
|
|
formally announcing Evan's birth and honoring his delighted |
|
|
parents; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby officially welcome Evan Walker Speight as a new |
|
|
citizen of Texas and extend heartfelt congratulations to Dennis and |
|
|
Emily Speight on the birth of their son; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the Speights as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
