R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, The passing of Alfredo Granado, Jr., of Fort Davis |
|
on April 27, 2007, at the age of 89, deeply saddened the family and |
|
friends of this beloved gentleman; and |
|
WHEREAS, Born in Fort Davis to Alfredo and Nora Granado on |
|
October 19, 1917, Mr. Granado spent many years as a truck driver; |
|
and |
|
WHEREAS, Alfredo Granado, Jr., was also a loving husband and |
|
a devoted father; he and his wife, Elfida, were the proud parents of |
|
seven children; and |
|
WHEREAS, Although Mr. Granado will be profoundly missed by |
|
all who knew and loved him, he leaves behind a legacy of kindness |
|
and good works that will be remembered for years to come; now, |
|
therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Alfredo Granado, Jr., |
|
and extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his |
|
wife, Elfida Granado; to his daughters, Linda Gallego, Lena |
|
Ontiveroz, Delia Granado, and Nancy Salgado; to his sons, John |
|
Lionel Granado, Armando Granado, and Roger Granado; to his sisters, |
|
Gloria Dominguez, Dora Henry, Bennie Jimenez, and Virginia |
|
Rodriguez; to his brother, Johnny Granado; to his 21 grandchildren; |
|
and to his other relatives and friends; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Alfredo |
|
Granado, Jr. |
