R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The 2007 top 10 graduates of Trinity High School in |
|
|
Euless have demonstrated a strong commitment to academic excellence |
|
|
and have given themselves a solid foundation on which to build a |
|
|
successful future; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Out of a graduating class of 669, the following |
|
|
students earned the distinction of being ranked in the top 10: |
|
|
valedictorian Sydney Kuykendall with a grade point average of |
|
|
4.68339; salutatorian Katie Baker with a grade point average of |
|
|
4.67203; Alex Mercado with a grade point average of 4.65618; |
|
|
Brittney Turner with a grade point average of 4.62127; Ian Slinker |
|
|
with a grade point average of 4.58828; David Phan with a grade point |
|
|
average of 4.56380; Berkeley Mengwasser with a grade point average |
|
|
of 4.54769; Stephanie Auge with a grade point average of 4.54203; |
|
|
Tiffani Burgess with a grade point average of 4.52593; and Yu Jin |
|
|
Choi with a grade point average of 4.50946; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, These dedicated young Texans possess a stellar work |
|
|
ethic and a determination to succeed, and they may indeed look with |
|
|
anticipation and optimism toward the challenges and opportunities |
|
|
that lie ahead; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate the 2007 top 10 graduates of |
|
|
Trinity High School and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued achievement; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the students as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
