R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, An inspiring couple whose lives have been enhanced |
|
|
by a great and enduring love, Ramon and Beatrice Villarreal of |
|
|
Edinburg celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on December 26, |
|
|
2006; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Villarreal were united in matrimony on |
|
|
that special day in 1956; they have nurtured a close and fulfilling |
|
|
marriage that has been made even richer with the addition of four |
|
|
children, Eddie Villarreal and his wife, Irma, Anilia Gonzaba and |
|
|
her husband, John, Norma Villarreal and her husband, Rick, and |
|
|
Ramon Villarreal, Jr., and his wife, Vivian; their lives have been |
|
|
further blessed by 11 grandchildren, Kamille, Rolando, Roman, |
|
|
Megan, John Andrew, Victoria, Rick, Julian, Ramon, Aaron, and |
|
|
Vanessa, as well as three great-grandchildren; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A district manager with Farmers Insurance Group, Mr. |
|
|
Villarreal has worked for the company for more than 32 years and |
|
|
oversees 72 agents; Mrs. Villarreal is a homemaker; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Having witnessed innumerable changes in the world |
|
|
over the past half-century, this devoted husband and wife have |
|
|
taken comfort in the reassuring strength of their love, and the |
|
|
steadfast support they provide to one another has allowed them to |
|
|
meet life's challenges and opportunities with grace and |
|
|
determination; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Ramon and Beatrice Villarreal on |
|
|
their golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best |
|
|
wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Villarreal as an expression of high regard |
|
|
by the Texas House of Representatives. |
