R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Bob and Pattye Parker of Edgewood have reached a |
|
|
joyous milestone in their life together with the celebration of |
|
|
their golden wedding anniversary on April 22, 2007; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Parker exchanged their vows of |
|
|
matrimony in 1957, and their enduring union stands as an example of |
|
|
loving commitment and shared values; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Active in their church, they express their delight |
|
|
in their lifetime bond through travel, gardening, and spending time |
|
|
with their daughters, sons-in-law, and grandchildren; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For fifty years, Mr. and Mrs. Parker have enjoyed |
|
|
laughter, affection, and mutual support, and it is fitting that |
|
|
their commitment to one another be celebrated; now, therefore, be |
|
|
it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Bob and Pattye Parker on their 50th |
|
|
wedding anniversary and extend to them best wishes for continued |
|
|
happiness together; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Parker as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
