R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Breakthrough Gospel Promotions of San Antonio |
|
|
celebrated the first anniversary of its founding on April 21, 2007; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, One of the leading gospel music promotion companies |
|
|
in the Lone Star State, BGP was created in January 2006 by Alonzo |
|
|
Hurt, Jr., an acclaimed musical coordinator based in the Alamo |
|
|
City; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, BGP is home to a number of talented gospel artists of |
|
|
all ages and backgrounds who offer powerful and inspiring ministry |
|
|
through song; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, With the goal of bringing uplifting music to people |
|
|
across the world, BGP provides joy and comfort to many, and this |
|
|
notable group is truly worthy of recognition; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby recognize Breakthrough Gospel Promotions on its |
|
|
first anniversary and congratulate all those associated with this |
|
|
worthwhile venture; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Breakthrough Gospel Promotions as an expression of |
|
|
high regard by the Texas House of Representatives. |
