R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Memories of a life filled with joyful times may
  comfort the family and friends of Katherine Moore Richardson of San
  Antonio, who passed away on January 17, 2007; and
         WHEREAS, Born on September 20, 1922, Mrs. Richardson was
  raised in St. Hedwig and attended public schools before studying to
  become a cosmetologist; and
         WHEREAS, Mrs. Richardson owned and operated her own beauty
  salon for many years and earned a reputation for her skilled work;
  she was later employed with several local art galleries before her
  retirement in the late 1990s; and
         WHEREAS, A woman of deep spiritual conviction, she gave
  generously to those in need, and she was cherished for her warmth
  and kindness; and
         WHEREAS, Kat Richardson built a life that was rich in family
  and friends, and although she will be deeply missed, she will always
  be remembered with greatest admiration; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Katherine Moore
  Richardson and extend sincere sympathy to the members of her
  family: to her children, Richard Richardson and his wife, Patricia,
  Ronald Richardson and his wife, Debra, Rosalyn V. Phillips, Rhenea
  Ivory and her husband, Sammie, Robin Y. Richardson, and Robert C.
  Richardson; to her grandchildren, Rhonda Latson, La'Shon Wilson,
  Robert E. White, Ronald J. Richardson II, Tamiqua Ivory, Sammie
  Ivory III, Celeste Richardson, Roxanne Richardson, Kandyce Ivory,
  Richard Richardson, Jr., Rashad Richardson, and Rhazul Richardson;
  to her great-grandchildren, Trevone' Latson, Kevante' Latson,
  Robert E. White, Jr., Brandon Wilson II, and Alexis Walker; to her
  brothers, George R. Moore, Leonard Moore and his wife, Yvonne,
  Elijah Moore, Jr., and Charles Moore, Sr.; to her sisters-in-law,
  Herbie Lee Moore, Peggy Howard, and Diane Whitfield; to her special
  loved ones, Darrel Collins, Donna Barnes, Charles Moore, Jr., and
  Marta Renter; and to her other relatives and friends; and, be it
  further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Katherine
  Moore Richardson.
