R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, No words can soften the pain of a life that ends too |
|
soon, and we join the family and many friends of Maria Celeste |
|
Valdez in mourning her death on March 27, 2007, at the age of 50; and |
|
WHEREAS, A loving daughter, sister, mother, and friend, Mrs. |
|
Valdez was known for her generosity of spirit and an infectious |
|
enthusiasm in all endeavors, and she built a life that was |
|
remarkably rich in family, friends, and accomplishments; and |
|
WHEREAS, Although she will be deeply missed, her loved ones |
|
may take comfort in remembering her at her happiest, and her spirit |
|
will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew her; |
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Maria Celeste Valdez |
|
and extend deepest sympathy to her family and friends; and, be it |
|
further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Maria |
|
Celeste Valdez. |
