R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Memories of a life filled with joyful times, loving
  moments, and meaningful accomplishments may comfort the family and
  friends of Peggy Tieman, who passed away on April 11, 2007, at the
  age of 78; and
         WHEREAS, A resident of Highlands for more than 50 years, Ms.
  Tieman was an award-winning artist and longtime member of The Art
  League of Baytown whose work hangs in homes, schools, and churches
  throughout East Texas; and
         WHEREAS, Although deeply saddened by her death, those who
  were privileged to know Peggy Tieman may take comfort in their
  memories of time spent in her company and in the legacy of talent,
  grace, and kindness that she leaves behind; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Peggy Tieman and
  extend deepest sympathy to all those who mourn her passing; and, be
  it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Peggy
  Tieman.
