R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Memories of a life filled with joyful times, loving |
|
moments, and meaningful accomplishments may comfort the family and |
|
friends of Peggy Tieman, who passed away on April 11, 2007, at the |
|
age of 78; and |
|
WHEREAS, A resident of Highlands for more than 50 years, Ms. |
|
Tieman was an award-winning artist and longtime member of The Art |
|
League of Baytown whose work hangs in homes, schools, and churches |
|
throughout East Texas; and |
|
WHEREAS, Although deeply saddened by her death, those who |
|
were privileged to know Peggy Tieman may take comfort in their |
|
memories of time spent in her company and in the legacy of talent, |
|
grace, and kindness that she leaves behind; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Peggy Tieman and |
|
extend deepest sympathy to all those who mourn her passing; and, be |
|
it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Peggy |
|
Tieman. |
