R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Joel Fisher has ably served his fellow Texans as an |
|
aide in the office of State Representative Bill Zedler during the |
|
80th Legislative Session; and |
|
WHEREAS, The valedictorian of his graduating class at KRK |
|
Christian Academy in Canton, Mr. Fisher plans to major in speech |
|
communications at Texas State University and hopes to pursue a |
|
career as a public relations consultant; he has been highly active |
|
in politics for the past 12 years and has attended eight Republican |
|
state conventions and completed an internship in the office of the |
|
governor; and |
|
WHEREAS, This outstanding young man has been of great |
|
assistance to Representative Zedler's office throughout the |
|
session and has gained valuable work experience in the field of |
|
public service, as well as a keen insight into the issues facing the |
|
citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Fisher has performed his duties as a legislative |
|
aide with skill, perseverance, and dedication, and he may indeed |
|
look forward to a bright and rewarding future; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby commend Joel Fisher for his service as a |
|
legislative aide and extend to him best wishes for continued |
|
success; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Mr. Fisher as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
House of Representatives. |
