R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Joel Fisher has ably served his fellow Texans as an
  aide in the office of State Representative Bill Zedler during the
  80th Legislative Session; and
         WHEREAS, The valedictorian of his graduating class at KRK
  Christian Academy in Canton, Mr. Fisher plans to major in speech
  communications at Texas State University and hopes to pursue a
  career as a public relations consultant; he has been highly active
  in politics for the past 12 years and has attended eight Republican
  state conventions and completed an internship in the office of the
  governor; and
         WHEREAS, This outstanding young man has been of great
  assistance to Representative Zedler's office throughout the
  session and has gained valuable work experience in the field of
  public service, as well as a keen insight into the issues facing the
  citizens of the Lone Star State; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Fisher has performed his duties as a legislative
  aide with skill, perseverance, and dedication, and he may indeed
  look forward to a bright and rewarding future; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Joel Fisher for his service as a
  legislative aide and extend to him best wishes for continued
  success; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Fisher as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
