R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Chronicling the official activities of the Texas
  House of Representatives is an exacting and challenging
  undertaking, and the achievement of this essential aspect of the
  legislative process is made possible through the dedicated service
  of House Journal Clerk Julia Bass and the staff members in her
  office; and
         WHEREAS, The journal clerk's office prepares, publishes, and
  maintains the official journals of house proceedings and makes this
  record of legislative history available on a daily basis; the
  office is also responsible for running the voting system and
  putting record vote information online; and
         WHEREAS, In addition to Ms. Bass, the office staff includes
  Jennifer Teigen, assistant journal clerk and voting clerk, Susan
  Bradley, Keri Ehlinger, Alicia Gostylo, Ruhee Grewal, James
  Hershberger, Grace Levrier, Christopher Lucas, Delores McIntosh,
  Rachel Sidopulos, and Stacy Wishert; and
         WHEREAS, All those who have devoted long hours of hard work to
  assisting house members in day-to-day operations are worthy of
  special recognition and some well-deserved sleep, and the members
  of the house are proud to extend their gratitude to these essential
  staffers; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas
  Legislature commend the staff of the office of the House Journal
  Clerk for their dedication to the Texas house and their service to
  the State of Texas; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Bass and the journal clerk staff as an expression
  of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
